Hi! Ok, so I went to CVS a few days ago to get some makeup. I read a lot about the Maybelline Eye Studio cream eye shadows. Apparently, according to many people, they are comparable to the Mac Paint Pots. There is and always was a huge hype about these Paint Pots. I was going to get one, but they were a bit pricey ($17.) So I decided to get the Maybelline creme shadows. I got it in Rose Revolution, for about $7. As seen in the picture to the right, The left most shadow is a light champagne color, the middle one is a pink-gold color, and the right most is a brown purple-ish color. Now I'll talk about the one I bought. Online, these containers looked much larger. When I bought it, they were only about 1x3inch containers! And the colors, weren't so true as to what they look like. When you put your finger in the left one, it's ultra shimmery and gold-white. The middle one, instead of looking pink, it looked like a bronze-gold, and the right one, was just brown. And all 3 of them are really glittery. I was a little bit disappointed, but they're still worthwhile.
The next think I bought were Essence of Beauty brushes! I
love these! They are really cheap, because I got a set of 6 brushes for $10! And they are great quality and very soft! It came with a powder brush, concealer brush, blush brush, eye shadow brush, smudger, and eyeliner brush. These are obviously not as great as Mac brushes, but they are great if you don't want to invest much money for brushes.
And that's all I got. Bye!
